Kathryn Starke (@kathrynstarke) is an urban literacy consultant, reading specialist, author, keynote speaker, adjunct professor, and the founder of The Starke School and Creative Minds Publications, LLC, a global literacy educational publishing company. Kathryn has served as a literacy trainer for the University of Chicago Urban Education Institute and VCU AmeriCorps program. She is also the children’s author and literacy advocate for the Washington Football Team Charitable Foundation reading program.
